Texas State Historical Association
Texas State Historical Association is going digital this year. Preliminary plans tell us that the pre-recorded sessions will be available to registrants two weeks in advance of the conference dates. On conference dates, attendees can log in to Q&A sessions. Also, watch for special events they're hosting that will be of interest. In addition to the virtual experience, we are told that the price will be affordable for this event.
Our session will feature the following representatives of Texas Folklore Society:
Mary Margaret Campbell, George West, Texas, Session Chair
Norma Cantú, PhD., Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas, Fiestas on the Border: Matachines and George Washington's Birthday in Laredo, Texas
Meredith Abarca, PhD., University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso Food Voices; Preserving Folklore through Food Stories
Steven L. Davis, The Wittliff Collection at Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas, The Essential J. Frank Dobie
