Kenneth L. Untiedt has been Secretary-Editor of the Texas Folklore Society since 2004, when he took over the position from the retiring F. E. Abernethy.

Dr. Untiedt teaches English at Stephen F. Austin State University. He earned his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from Texas Tech University. He and his wife, Tierney, have four children and live in Nacogdoches, Texas.
