Nineteenth Annual Meeting

The nineteenth annual meeting of the Texas Folklore Society was held
on the campus of Baylor University, Waco, Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22, 1933
Owing to the death of John K. Strecker, president, during the year, Martha Emmons,
long an active member of the Society and a resident of Waco, took the responsibility
of getting the program up, and she presided.

Memorial Hour for John K. Strecker, deceased President of the Texas Folklore
Society. At this time the Texas Academy of Science also gave public honorable
mention of a bound volume of Mr. Strecker's contributions to science.
