At the annual meeting, members read papers, play music, give demonstrations, and display items on a variety of folklore subjects. (For a glimpse at titles of papers presented at meetings over the years, see the List of Meeting Papers.)

The Vice-President/Program Chair plans the program for the next year's meeting, and accepts proposals from members.

Send paper ideas for the 2009 meeting in Nacogdoches (April 9-11, 2009) to Program Chair Lucy Fischer West as soon as possible, and no later than the end of October 2008. Lucy prefers to receive papers in hard copy, but will take them in a Word file. No electronic photos or pdf files, please.
