Kay Arnold coordinated the Texas Folklore Society's participation in the Texas Book Festival  (October 22-23) on the Capitol grounds in Austin. Kay says it was the "best book festival ever!" She said, "We really had a good time and I believe we're making headway in recruiting new members." Twelve new members signed up! The youngest new member is a high school student, others are graduate students, and there are some from South Texas--all welcomed additions to TFS. Two-hundred brochures were given out.
